This is a year of Tiger, so we need and supported to do some thing to help and save the amounts of tiger that are left in Vietnam. As we want to do this, we need to stop using products from tiger and wildlife animals. We need to save their habitat as not burning and cutting down trees. Those solutions are saying and to be made at the hottest topic on TV or Internet these days but questions us as “How many of us do care for the world and our future generations?”

Prostitution…. bless or curse?

April 25th, 2010 by · No Comments · Uncategorized

17 prostitutes were caught while they were doing their “business” in Ho Chi Minh city last week after nearly 2 months of finding enough information from the police.

There are plenty of the opinions if we should support this business or not. Guest comes to these karaoke or restaurants because they need request from SEX. But on the other hand, we are worried if HIV virus can be spread widely over the country.

In Singapore, there is one street called GeyLang which is  a red street where prostitutes can work freely.

Prostitution is a bad business, but people need to earn money and this is the last chance they can find their work so we should not think too bad about this.

The question for now is : ” Should Vietnam accept to have a street where prostitute can work legally?”

Donation of kidney to Facebook friend – is it worth the risk?

April 22nd, 2010 by · 1 Comment · Uncategorized

By just stumbling on Facebook one day, Capone Almon (mayor of East Haven, Connecticut) saw a status update from an acquaintance (Carlos Sanchez) who was not aware that it could change his life.

The two acquaintances only knew each other through friends in the area, but by just seeing Sanchez’s status which indicates that “his friends and relatives had all been tested and couldn’t donate a kidney”, it was quoted that Almon “just had a feeling she would be a perfect match. It was by only a doctor’s proposition that Sanchez had posted his private situation out to the public. He was rather nervous about how people might pity him.

At first, Sanchez would not believe how the mayor would offer her kidneys to him and thought that Almon was joking. As a response, Almon firmly secured Sanchez’s doubts by saying that she was serious and willingly to get tested.

After a long series of tests and explanation, the kidney transplant was successful. The surgeries were paid by insurance and both were released from the hospital in less than a week.
